Nowadays internet has become the main source of the information for many people. Most of them believe that the large part of the information on the internet is false or misleading. However, I disagree with the statement. In my opinion, the internet has various authentic websites and sources to provide valid information.
On the one hand, if anyone wants to published anything in the internet they can do it very easily. As a result, some people intentionally publish fake information in the internet. Some people do it as fun and others do it for their financial benefits. When people see those fake information they get confused. That is why they believe that most of the information in the internet are incorrect without cheaking trusted sources. Moreover, some of them do not know how to differentiate between fake and authentic information.
On the other hand, I belive that most of the information on the internet is correct. Because, there are several websites and portals which provide correct information. For instance, government websites, verified educational sites, websites of several certified news agencies provide reliable information. As a result, people can get the right information from the websites of these organizations. Furthermore, nowadays, there are many ways to know whether an information is correct or incorrect. So, people can easily identify false information.
To sum up, although the internet has some incorrect information, I disagree that a large part of it is false. Most of the information we find on the internet these days are relible.
