Some people believe that most individuals don’t pay enough attention to environmental issues. I both agree and disagree with this opinion, in this essay I will explain why.
First of all, many people are disposed of the waste in wrong ways. Mostly in the urban area, they often burn or bury the trash which will heavily cause the air and soil pollution. For instance, a survey in countryside in Vietnam showed that in 2010, the dangerous scale of air pollution are higher than in city center. In addition, some individuals also throw their trash in wrong place such as in the river, under the bridge.
On the other hand, there are numerous of projects that are held by teenagers with the target to protect the environment. Many practical activities have been done in many years, the most popular one that can be told is the 3R projects. 3R is stand for reuse – reduce – recycle, thanks to this, many individuals now care about the environmental issues more than before
In conclusion, even though some people don’t care much about environmental issues, there are still many people already devote to protect the environment. Given this situation, governments should support young people in their environmental projects and come up with some solutions to raise people’s awareness of environmental issues
