In this day and age, salary has become one of the most essential necessities in our lives. While some believe that an income is more vital than enthusiasm, others argue that passion is more essential than all else in finding a job. From where I stand, both visions have validity, and I would lean towards the former.
On the one hand, there are good grounds for believing that money plays a pivotal role in our society. First and foremost, careers have lucrative incomes associated with a better quality of life. This can be illustrated by the fact that, nowadays, living cost increases dramatically, such as food, clothes, houses, due to higher earnings than in the past. In addition, it cannot be refused that money is a medium of exchange, as today’s society is in a money-based economy rather than a barter-based one. The prime example is that all goods and services are measured value through currency. As a result, having a high salary is extremely critical to live in a good life standard.
On the other hand, I side with those holding the view that enthusiasm determines a future life. Firstly, passion is a motivation that encourages employees continuing to do their job. This means that, no matter how high the salary is, working without interest will hard to lead to success. Another justification is that enjoying life is the highest goal in life, not saving money. For instance, numerous people, despite not having much money, they still feel happy and joyful to make money from their dream job. Consequently, there is a strong likelihood that doing work that they enjoy is the key to success.
To recapitulate, for all reasons mentioned above, it cannot be denied that everything has a double-edged sword. From my perspective, it seems to me that happiness and inspiration are the chief factors in achieving a successful job, both physically and spiritually.
