The majority of people believe that the officials should spend money to make life better on Earth instead of supporting financially space exploration. I totally agree with this statement.
It is true that nowadays the quality of living is not satisfactory for citizens because of many damages. One of the main issue is that environmental problems such as pollution and global warming which affect significantly to society.The government should take actions against them as soon as possible rather than investing money in discovering space. For example, If air pollution impacts negatively on climate change year by year and it is not prevented there will be more issues to individuals.
On top of this, life of people is more important than exploring space. The majority of people are dying, this is a serious matter to Earth. The government should take care of poor citizens who don’t have even drinking water or space to live. They need more help from the officials in order to survive. Moreover, space researches is not critical as urbanization, education of children and famine. A huge amount of money should be given to improve these kinds of programs. As a result, problems related to illiteracy and famine can be addressed and the quality of life gets better provides many conveniences to citizens.
In conclusion, In my opinion, financial allocation to space is waste of money, people’s lives are more valuable, so more money should be spent by the government on education, hunger or minimizing environmental problems.
