While opponents hold the view that many individuals will choose to visit their countries’ landmarks rather than travel to different countries, proponents and I have a diverse perspective. I am of the belief that tourists will travel abroad because it is becoming cheaper and more convenient.
To begin with, governments consider tourism the main source of hard currency. Because of that, they make it easier for foreigners to visit their countries. Many facilities are provided for those who are planning to come from outside, like companies to help them in their journey, new hotels with a suitable budget, and private cars to avoid public transportation. For instance, in my country, Egypt, the Ministry of Tourism supplies any tourist company with many offers. Thus, it is obvious that tourists find it much easier to discover new places outside their homes.
Moreover, social media platforms play an important role in encouraging people to visit new places. To illustrate, many videobloggers are posting videos of their countries’ tourist attractions; consequently, they motivate those who have free time to come and see the beautiful areas they are seeing online. This behavior has increased the number of visitors to many countries recently. For example, a research study conducted by Cairo University has emphasized that many families traveled to different locations because of a video they saw on a website. Therefore, I think that traveling abroad will be common in the future.
In conclusion, after this essay has manifested the points mentioned above, it can be reiterated that heading to different locations will be more common in the coming years. In my opinion, governments are exerting much effort to convince anyone with different nationality to come to their countries. And videobloggers are motivating people to see their favorite places.
