In today’s digital era, education has long been regarded as an indispensable part to both personal growth and social development. Nevertheless, due to the technological landscape revolution, many supporters contemplate that Artificial Intelligence will take teachers’ place in imparting knowledge to students, while some people reckon that teachers have played an incredibly essential part in guiding youngsters’ behaviors. From my perspective, I completely agree that human teachers will never be replaced by technological advancements.
First and foremost, in comparison to emotionless AI tutors, human teachers exceed on account of their high level of Emotional Intelligence and empathy. This can be explained by the fact that, robot teachers may have the capability of giving more specific and academic lectures to students, but under no circumstances, will they realize how upset and dis-motivated students are during the curriculum. On the contrary, human lecturers who have experienced the same period as ordinary students are able to recognize the exact feelings and thoughts of pupils, so that they will be a timely reminder, encouraging students to keep their chin up.
Furthermore, it is obvious that human teachers may provide more adaptability and flexibility during the lessons than technological tutorials. As a matter of fact, while AI has a tendency to guide teenagers following a lesson plan, making them exhausted because of listening to repetitive speech, a truly dedicated teacher will take advantage of their improvisational skills which help them to actively change the subject, organize small games or even tell a joke in order to enliven the learning atmosphere.
In conclusion, although the technology is continuously advancing, the vital roles of human teachers are undeniable, as they have their own stories and dedication to become a true educator. With their enthusiasm and versatility, the algorithm will never replace human elements in educational systems.
