Over time, we may observe that with an increase in population, the need for resources has become a huge demand, compensating for the ways we have been damaging our own environment. The artifacts are some of the main reasons for the occurrence of natural catastrophes.
Firstly, forests are being cut down to make way for industries to come and establish themselves, and some forests are being cut down for the purpose of livelihood—to build houses and for wood to make fire. Due to deforestation, rainfall has become less common, which eventually affects the natural ecosystem.
Secondly, there is the need for mining minerals and other metals from the earth’s crust. We dig deep down into the crust, and sometimes bombs are even used to get the minerals out. Doing all this will obviously disturb the tectonic plates inside, which causes disasters like tsunamis and earthquakes. If we stop doing things this way, it will automatically result positively. There are other natural disasters that also have human intervention, like global warming, forest fires, and floods. All these kinds of problems occur due to the harm that we do to the environment in many ways; for instance, the burning of plastic has created a huge problem, causing damage to the ozone layer, which is also called ozone layer depletion.
In conclusion, the only thing that people have to be educated about is their wrongdoing, which depletes the natural ecosystem. Instead of bombing and drilling holes into the crust, search for places that have an availability of minerals; instead of burning plastic, leave it aside for disposal. If we follow certain procedures to ensure the wellness of Mother Nature, people of all generations will be happy.
