In today’s world, so many people are drawn to try other kinds of treatments rather than the conventional way, which is to visit their doctors. What I believe is that despite some potential hazards, this phenomenon has brought a wealth of benefits to our lives. This essay will elaborate on the reasons for my view.
The primary pro of this trend could be putting less strain on healthcare system than before. If fewer patients go to the medical centers, there will be no need to recruit a substantial number of medical specialists. Furthermore, these centers are likely to be less crowded; therefore, doctors and nurses will dedictate most of their times to the patients with pressing health problems, particularly one who is severely injured in an incident.
Another real plus point could be enabling individuals to save their time and money more productively. Not making appointments to see their doctors, they no longer need to pay money and deal with the hassle of commuting to arrive there on time. As a result, they can allocate this time and money to other priorities.
On the contrary, some argue that if people use medical methods or consume tablets without consulting with medical specialists, their health issues might be exacerbated further, which is an understandable concern. However, I do think this situation can be perfectly remedied by fostering AI tools to point sufferers in the right direction.
In conclusion, although there are some concerns about adopting harmful alternatives, new approaches have been extremely beneficial, leading society to be frugal with time and money. Besides, thanks to decline in the demand for visiting medical experts, those with urgent health issues are visited as soon as possible.
