More and more people argue whether animal experiments should be prohibited because it is unethical to force animals into pain. Although animals need to be treated as individuals, I assert that researching animals is very crucial.
Those people who object to these behaviors sound reasonable. Almost all experiments nowadays use mammals to try new medicines, especially monkeys and rats. However, these animals have strong resistance to resist environments, they do not get illnesses easily, therefore, scientists must implant artificial diseases into them. Another research abuses primates to suffer from physical impact by tasering or forcing them to do some repetitive actions. Absolutely, these behaviors injure their holistic health, heavier might lead to death. Thus, people who have mercy on these dedicated animals will protest about these experiments.
Nevertheless, human life must be prioritized. There are numerous computers now that can stimulate and replace those analyses, but the accuracy is still low because of the complex structure of a myriad of neurons and blood vessels of animals. In emergency cases, experiments on primates always give expeditious results to create medicines or vaccines which can have the opportunity to save all humanity, particularly in some epidemics. Lots of illnesses do not have medicines or treatment courses, such as cancer or AIDS. Consequently, these diseases take thousands of lives each year and many children lack their parents. For that reason, experiments on animals need to be sustained to give people a better quality of life.
In conclusion, the advantages of using animals for medical research are beyond the drawbacks. Animals who died through the experiments made a noble sacrifice because they dedicated their bodies to helping scientists to pursue significant inventions and advancements.
