Consequently, impressionable teenagers are easily influenced by constant exposure, which creates unrealistic expectations among young people, making them believe that success is measured by material possessions rather than hard work and dedication,resulting in perceiving school work as a waste of time or unnecessary activity. Moreover, some celebrities achieve fame through drama rather than meaningful contributions to society, this can mislead young people into thinking that achieving fame requires no real skills or effort.
Nevertheless, the idea that young people are only influenced by materialistic celebrities is an overgeneralization. There are numerous celebrities who are known for their outstanding accomplishments in various fields-such as science, technology, sports and engineering. These celebrities serve as positive examples for young people, demonstrating the importance of perseverance and discipline. For example, celebrities like Ronaldo is considered one of the most influential figures due to his personality and donations to the people who came from disadvantaged backgrounds and victims of natural disasters. Furthermore, he is a role model for individuals who are suffering from poverty, as he used to be poverty-stricken in his early childhood; because of dedication and hard work he became one of the most popular and wealthiest people in the world. Young people constantly follow his lifestyles due to their interests in sports activities and learn from him that success is not just about demonstrating wealth but also about making a positive impact on the world.
