Band 6+: Nowadays celebrities earn more money than politicians. What are the reasons for this? Is it a positive or negative development? You should write at least 250 words.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, celebrities make more money than the leaders who run our countries. Some reasons for this are that many people love watching movies, shows, and listening to music, which makes celebrities really popular. This popularity helps them get lots of money from ads, movies, and brand deals. On the other hand, leaders, like presidents or prime ministers, usually have a fixed salary paid by the government, and it’s not as much as what celebrities get.

One reason why famous people make more money is that they’re really good at entertaining us. They sing, act, and make us laugh, and that makes people want to give them money. On the other hand, leaders work for the government, and their job is different. They don’t make money by entertaining; they get paid by the government for their work.

Some good things about famous people making more money are that it shows if you’re really good at something, you can get a lot of money for it. It makes people work hard and be motivated. Also, when famous people make a lot of money, they spend it on different things, which helps the economy of the country. However, there are also some not-so-good things. If we care too much about famous people making money, we might forget about the important job leaders have in keeping our countries running smoothly. Too much focus on famous people might make us think that being famous is more important than being a good leader.

In conclusion, whether it’s a good or bad thing depends on how you look at it. It’s important to think about what we value more – entertainment or good leadership. Maybe we need to find a balance so that both can be important in our lives.
