Band 5+: Nowadays, international tourism is the biggest industry in the world. Unfortunately, international tourism creates tension rather than understanding between people from different cultures.

Proponents of travelling from country to the others one likely cause tension rather than knowing each others from different cultures. Although travelling to other countries may promote the cooperative spirits between nations, I would contend it may bring about unwanted consequences.

Looking from my perspective, tourism can promote the image of the host country. Particularly, having many tourists travel to nations not only help bring more career opportunities for local residents but also positive contributing to local economy as well as nations. For instance, in Hoi An Ancient Town in VietNam, tourist can experience workshops about making artisans and crartmanship organizing by local people, which can help to push up the GDP of countries but also introduce local culture for international friends. Therefore, coming to other countries can enhance deep understanding about the culture of countries.

However, I would argue that traveling between countries can be more harmful than good. Differences cultures can be a major reason causing misunderstanding when experience each other’s cultures. For example, Westerner go sightseeing pagodas, they can oblivious to local customs due to the fact that pagodas are popular in their country. This can lead to inappropriate behaviors such as kissing or having intimate gestures in religious places. Therefore, ditinguish cultures can fractures in the bond between people of different cultures.

In conclusion, for the reason I mentioned above. While travelling to other countries can offer the cooperative spirits between nations, I would contend it may bring about unintended consequences due to the difference in culture. As the negative impacts of international tourism become more evident, it is likely that the industry may decline, leading to fewer instances of cultural misunderstandings and conflicts. Therefore, it is crucial to strike a balance between promoting tourism and addressing its adverse effects to ensure harmonious international relations.
