In this modern era, mobile phones and computers become significant part of human life. It is believed by some people that language translation should be done by personal computers and cell phones instead of human translators. I disagree with this statement and will discuss the views in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, economy of a country depends on translators. To expain it, many travel companies demand a translator for their customers of different cultures. So, they need a multilingual person. A lot of visitors come from other nations to look after the monuments, customs as well as geographical conditions of a country. As a result, there is a of tourist guide who talk with them. Furthermore, some regions do not have access to internet. To elaborate, computers and mobiles needs internet to translate a language. For example, in India there are some areas in Himachal Pradesh where internet connection is not good. As a result, these towns or rural areas need a human translator.
Moreover, distinct languages have different grammar syntax. Sometimes, computers are not able to translate one language to another in a proper way. To epitome, in 2020 a research showed that approximately 69 percent of languages which translated with the help of computers are not properly defined. In addition, technology can not express the expressions of people. In other words, it cannot describes the feelings of a human being like if a person is happy or sad.
To conclude, although in this technological world, computers and mobile phones play a vital role for human language translation but, there is a need for a human translator because it cannot define the emotions of a person.
