This is because the development of agriculture technology and transportation systems, that help farms can manufacture agricultural product more effectively thank to applying mechanics and maximize harvests and facilitate distribute food to market and store. As a result, not only the price of food in shops and restaurants has declined significantly but also the quality of food is clean and delicious. This lead to people may waste food irresponsibly without a second thought. Another reasons for this situation is that anyone has a careless shopping habits without having a detailed plan of their meals. Consequently, they cannot use all of food products before expiry date and then certainly they have to throw away them.
Some effective measures could be implemented to alleviate this situation. One of them is that restaurants should punish customers who order too many dishes but cannot finish them. Another feasible solution is that comminity organizations should hold workshops or courses to educate citizens how to plan for their meals.
