In the contemporary era, occupation has been a matter of debate, with an emerging trend in the number of younger leaders and managers. In my opinion, this phenomenon that are driven by several factors can be complementary to the economy.
First and foremost, younger generations tend to be employed for the higher positions as they are significantly familiar with technology as well as physically and mentally healthy. Primarily, due to technological breakthoughs, a majority of processes in an operation can be throughly done, which is a crucial characteristic for a company to thrive. For instance, through advancements in technology, numerous procedures such as packaging can be conducted autonomously by robots. Furthermore, leaders who are in their 20s are better than the elderly in terms of well-being. Since seniors are likely to undergo various health problems such as depression, high-blood pressure and heart attack, they are certainly not as much effective as juniors.
Therefore, this trend may offer plenty of positive outcomes to organizations. Firstly, if a variety of work can be done by AI and robots, companies are able to cut down the labour cost substantially. To illustate, when the delivery process can be done by technology, workers involving in that field might be replaced, decreasing the number of employees. Hence, operations may not need to pay a great amount of cash for workers, facilitating the profits and the national economy as a whole. Secondly, companies do not need to pay attention to medical conditions of younger managers. As they are well-qualified mentally and physically, it is uncommon for them to be absent from work for medical issues, which in turn reduces the cost for such circumstances.
In conclusion, the phenomenon which stems from several reasons can be advantageous to organizations. This is because it can foster the efficiency and profits of a company, promoting the economy of a nation.
