In this contemporary society, there are a plethora of reasonable reasons for being leaders and formers in the workplace. These days, young people are more likely to lead the teams or even be managers compared to the elderly in the past. In this essay, the further explanation about the causes of this issue will be deliberated as well as my point of view.
To begin with, one of the salient reasons attributing to this problem is that there are numerous online courses on social media platforms. This is mainly because the technology is growing rapidly. Therefore, young generations who master the technology tools are capable of accessing this course and enhancing their capabilities. Harvard University, for example, is the educational establishment which provides plenty of valuable training for all the people around the world. Its aim is to give many people valuable insight related to their fields and be the experts in particular areas of interests.
Furthermore, another possible reason is further education. In today’s world, young people tend to pursue their dreams and careers by getting a higher education. For instance, In Indonesia, the government provides scholarships to youth in order to excel in particular jobs. By doing this, young people have potential skills to be leaders or managers in big companies or organizations compared to the past. Hence, they can outperform in many circumstances, and they are able to help others such as older people with their knowledge.
In my point of view, having the younger generation as team leaders or managers is best practice and this is a key concern in many countries in present days since they are an asset for developing their countries. Therefore, this is a positive development to be applied.
In conclusion, the numerous online courses and further education are the main reasons why today’s world has young people as managers or team leaders in their community.
