Band 5: Nowadays many job seekers are finding jobs that force them to move for from their family and friends. Is it a positive or a negative trend? What can be done about it? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

In contemporary era , it is not wrong to aknowledge that everyone across the globe is prioritizing their career than family. Today, a big populance is seeking for jobs that distants them from their nears nd dears. However; it is a negative trend the reason being is cut off from emotional support and other various awful consequences. Nevertheless, there are several ways to resolve this issue and provide alternative favourable conditions. This essay intents to discuss about the notion in detail in upcoming paragraphs.

To embark , nowadays, a good bank balance is everyones dream but to fullfill it , going far away miles from family and friends is not a relavant solution. There are a myriad of reasons to find long distance job from home but it can show various negative impact on individual’s life . Firstly the person will be unable to support family responsibility which play a great role for a peaceful survival. Secondly, being distant from dear ones for long period of time can put a person into depressive period and anxiety because of over workload and loneliness. For instance, a survey was conducted in Japan in 14 April 2022 which showed that about 18/ teenagers who vent far for studies and 35/ of adults in the population were dealing with depression due to being away from family and excess job pressure.

Although, the problem is deep but nevertheless; there are numerous to resolve this trouble but before getting into solutions , its essential to know about root cause of seeking for jobs . One of the dominant reasons is distraction, many believe that being with family will not let them give their best into there occupation Another is “solace place” , people are searching a good place & a reason to get privacy to enjoy their own company for a while. Moreover, possible solutions for these are getting a holiday from work and going for outing alone “solo date” . Furthermore, another can be building a separate working room for resisters from disturbance . Therefore, other issues can be resolved by technology, for example, online teaching, work from home, online consultation , online meeting and so on
