Band 5+: Nowadays, many people choose to be self-employed instead of working for another company

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Recently, many people prefer working on their own, rather than working for a company or organisation. I believe that working self-employed has some both advantages and disadvantages. While working self-employed allows people to choose vacation, there are much more risks waiting for them.

Firstly, almost all people want to determine their vacation days and when they don’t want to go job, they have to go; on the other hand, if an individual works self-employed, he or she is not supposed to go and I think it is the most valuable advantage. However, working for self-employed provides development people and they can learn lesson if they mistake, if they win or loose both experience will belong them. For instance, a 2014 study conducted by Harvard University found that 78 percent of the people in the world suffer from going to work while sick. According to study, the other 22 percent are business owners and self-employed. To conclude, working for self-employed is very crucial by learning and gaining new lesson about life. At the same time, the best part is that individuals who work self-employed have the chance to skip work on the days they feel bad.

On the other hand, it is quite risky to undertake jobs. Therefore, most people avoid to work for themselves. However, taking risks can cause disease. Thus, people should be careful by working on their own, doing otherwise such as taking many risks can be irreversible. On the other hand, they should notice that success cannot be achieved without taking risks. For example, in my high school, some of my classmates left the school and started founding a job by themselves; nevertheless, they couldn’t have earned appropriate money. Therefore, they failed and some of them got sick. If they took less risks, at least they may have not felt ill. To sum up, taking risks may lead to get disease, risks should be taken minimally.

In conclusion, while there are some advantages to establish a occupations such as having more leisure time, without taking risk they will not succeed. On the other hand, if risks taken too much, it can be the end for people who take risks.
