Nowadays, many people have to work long hours. They feel much more stressed than before. This essay explains why this happens. It also gives simple ideas for employers to make work easier.

One main reason is too much work. Companies give big tasks with short time. Workers stay late to finish. For example, shop staff work extra to sell more and get bonus. Another reason is high living costs. Food, house rent and bills cost more. Jobs are not easy to get. So people work overtime for more money to support family. Also, phones and emails make work never stop. People check messages at home too. This adds stress all day.
