A debate has been recently increasing is whether technical equipment is used for contact and communication or this affair has an adverse impact on interpersonal connection. From my viewpoint, I prevail the first opinion.
In the constantly changing world today, there are a lot of electronic gadgets which can help us keep contact with other people favorably and quickly. Instead of waiting for the letters brought by courier, people in the digital era can send messages immediately. However far away it is, people always get in touch with others by a smartphone or a computer. According to some scientific research posted on BBC news, Forbes,… people using smart technology work and study more efficiently and their relationship is improved well. Students studying far from home can avoid homesickness. A husband who works far from his wife can take care of his family.
It is undeniable that human beings suffer from some detrimental consequences of social media and smartphones. That they are glued to the phone’s screen, and spend an amount of time surf the internet are critical problems today. They highly depend on online- contact to reduce the time for getting meetings off- line which is related to the conflict between the young and parents. Moreover, it is an emergency of cyberbullying leading to our society’s issue.
In conclusion, though the disadvantages of technology are notable, what it brings to our civilization is more cautiously considerable to boost and to develop people’s relationships. Dealing with its unfavorable impact and improving the way we use it are the most essential for us to create a prestigious world.
