There is an opinion that libraries are no more essential now and main reason is that people can find any information online. In my opinion, this is a well-justified view for several key reasons.
One of these reasons is the fast urban lifestyle. In the last 20 years lives of almost all people changed significantly, due to technology development. This change has an impact almost in all spheres, such as education, medicine, politics and many others. Trying to find everything in a very fast and easy ways started being as part of peoples live. Research has shown that a person can stay focused only for 3 seconds and this result has an extremely colossal difference with the past.
Another important reason is e-books replaced sizable part of paper books, it means there is no need to visit libraries in order to find a particular book or data. This is very convenient for students or for those who have much workload. In some developed western countries even the libraries changed the format and almost 80 percent of books were changed into electronic models. However even these changes could not make an influence on people for going to libraries. The particular explanation of this is progressing artificial intelligence, it is not vital to read a whole book since people can access for finding any answer or solution for any question or task.
In conclusion I fully agree with the idea that libraries do not play a crucial role in the modern live, since it is much easier and more accessible to read information online.
