In the temporary society, there is an ongoing trend towards bearing children later in life. This tendency happens due to myriad reasons and these will be addressed in the following essay. To the best of my notion, I am convinced that this phenomenon brings more benefits than drawbacks.
There are several factors that diversely impact on couple’s delaying bearing-children-decision. The first and foremost reason behind this is that the younger generations prefer spending time to pursue their career paths. When they are on the hike of their career paths, it is understandable that there is no physical viable for the birth of a child. For example, flight attendants are always in hectic schedules, and due to the special traits of the working environment, they are not capable of bearing children. Additionally, bearing children would be a prohibitively expensive investment that most young couples are not financially viable, forcing them to postpone their birth plans.
Nevertheless, I still believe this is a beneficial phenomenon for most young couples in this temporary society. Nowadays, due to the rapid development of the healthcare system, middle-aged women are facing fewer harmful issues when planning for pregnancy than ever before. Doctors can track their children frequently and assist them at the nearest time. Another compelling reason is that couples are more experienced in life and they are capable of raising their children in a suitable environment. Let alone the financial foundation that they will provide their children in their growing up paths.
In conclusion, focusing on career paths and non-financially-viable conditions are to blame for the increasing pregnancy in later life. I am convinced that it is a better choice for younger couples in this contemporary society since the developed healthcare system and middle-aged parents are more experienced in raising children.
