In contemporary society, it has been witnessed that many people have a thirst for having everything immediately, including groceries, information about the world, etc… Personally, I believe this is a negative trend along with numerous reasons, and this will be explained as follows.
To begin with, I do think that the more fast-paced the globe is, the more the need for instant speed will increase. Due to the fact that there are many edge-cutting tools that allow users to keep in touch with information easily and constantly. For example, because of the advanced advent of the Internet, searching for information has become convenient with a click. Therefore, this makes individuals around the world be in touch immediately.
Another reason for the mentioned development is that audiences are now getting involved more in their idols’ lives, such as their favorite actresses or actors. Since they want to know more deeply about their favorite celebrities, all news about them is always attractive. For instance, many surveys showed that there was a dramatic increase in audiences who found private information about Taylor Swift on the internet. This action made Taylor (who is one of the most well-known singers in the world) annoyed, frustrated, and felt like she would lose her private life.
To conclude, the demand for individuals who are wanted instantly has been caused by several reasons, such as the overwhelming development of technological advent, and people’s interest in their idols. Therefore, my viewpoint is that this phenomenon is no doubt negative.
