In recent years, the issue of organization some special occasions like Christmas and Halloween by Vietnamese youngsters has sparked a considerable debate. While many people believe that it is wrong to celebrate them due to these festival can affect badly to Vietnam. I totally disagree with this point of view because of the following benefits.
One of the main reasons I disagree is that when young Vietnamese people celebrate festivals from other countries they can have chance to access with various civilizations around the world and learn new things from this. For instance, when Vietnam youths join in Halloween, they can know about the origin of this festival or explore how is this festival operated so it can open their mind about culture of other countries. Therefore, taking part in different festivals is a good opportunity to enrich people knowledge about foreign culture and custom.
The second reason is that by celebrating these special events children will have days to relax and have fun. It is clear that, these days, Vietnamese youngsters have to study under a high quality education so they suffer stress from homework, test scores, expectation from parents. Christmas, Easter eggs and other festival are great days for Vietnam youths to relieve their pressure and boost their energy. Consequently, it is crucial for Vietnamese children to take part in special occasions.
Finally, global festivals promote extracurricular activities within educational institutions. By hosting annual events, students are motivated to learn about various traditions, interact with peers from different backgrounds, and showcase their own talents through performances. As a result, Vietnamese students will develop themselves in all aspects.
In conclusion, I am firmly convinced that the observance of foreign festivals in Vietnam is predominantly advantageous rather than harmful for young individuals. Such occasions provide them with the opportunity to revel in joyful experiences, and enrich their educational journey.
