In the modern world, residing far away from families and friends for seeking job opportunities have became a significant phenomenon. This essay argues that relocating for better jobs outweighs the disadvantages. The essay will first demonstrate how big cities have extended job markets and allow the creation of networks, followed by an analysis of the reason loneliness, a deterrent, can be overcame.

The vast majority of people that decide to seek work outside their native town, choose metropolies as the preferred destination. Larger cities provide a wider range of positions in various companies, resulting in an increase in the demand for workers for every profession. For instance, numerous multinationals selected Berlin or Paris as locations for their biggest offices, leading to greater job opportunities. Futhermore, huge cities enhance the possibility of connections with collegues. A person’s network of people can represent an advantage for future applications along with references, thus being offered a job more smoothly. For example, an aquaintance can reach out to past collegues to inform them of an opening position in their current company before anyone else.

However, the major drawback of living far from home is the feeling of loneliness. Relocating across the country or continent carry this emotions as a consequence. If not treated effectively it can impair one’s mental health. Additionaly, numerous people experience the exact state of mind, butit can be mitigated. For instance, social media and the smartphone reduced the communication challenges as a person can talk to their family for little money and search individuals with the same obstacle.

In conclusion, moving away from relatives and friends represent a viable solution to those who in search of better working condition and want to build connections to thrive flawlessly in their careers. Nevertheless, feeling desolated represent the prime barrier to face, but it can be arginated with technology devices and services to reduce the sense of alienation.
