Health is the most crucial part of humans’ life, however, most people around the globe are suffering from being overweight. There are several reasons for this such as unhealthy eating and sedentary lifestyle, and these factors can be reduced by eating healthy food and doing sport or walking.

First and foremost, people are becoming obese because they eat unhealthy food.As nowadays people are really busy with their work, they do not take time for cooking their own meals. As a result, they rely mostly on fast foods which are usually prepared in no time and snacks, which leads to being obese. For example, it is common to see overweight people eating fast foods and drinking sodas. What is most striking about this habit is that they not only fill their body with junk food but also they become bad examples for their children and they also prefer fast food ignoring healthier alternatives. To tackle this issue, people who work in busy offices should be given time to prepare or eat healthy home made food and children should be encouraged to eat healthily either by their parents or teachers.

Another contributory factor for obesity is sedentary lifestyle. As the living standards developed in most countries with advanced technology used in most sectors even at home people become less active. For instance, in the past it took women long time and much effort to wash clothes but now these jobs are done by just pressing the button of a washing machine which enables the women to do other chores. Or instead of visiting friends and talking to them it is now common to make a video call even without leaving your bed and talk. These developments made people lazy and less active and consequently they become out of shape. If people who are at home all day or work in offices behind a desk are encouraged to take walks in the morning or in the evening, this problem would be reduced to some extent.

In conclusion, modern living conditions which most people enjoy now like advanced technology and unhealthy eating habits contributed people to get out of condition and this problem can be mitigated by eating healthy alternatives and taking time to prepare home cooked food and jogging or walking before or after work.
