In recent years, many people have suffered from various distractions such as social media, smartphones, and entertainment.
Therefore, we have been degrading without noticing it. There are plenty of distractions that mitigate our dopamine production. Moreover, social media increases our prolactin, which prevents us from doing extra tasks such as cooking, exercising, or even cleaning windows. “Why?” you may ask. Whenever we scroll through videos, our energy is drained, because the brain is constantly stressed by the endless flow of information. Especially nowadays, men are often distracted by TV and junk food; therefore, they experience a lot of internal and external problems.
On the other hand, these things have a positive aspect. Entertainment can partly help us recover from hard work. For example, let’s take a situation when someone has been working for three months: if you don’t want to burn out, you should definitely take a rest and go somewhere to recharge.
From my perspective, these distractions have only a few advantages, but due to human behavior, we often fail to make the best use of them.
