In contemporary society, there have been mixed opinions on whether the prospects of technological development will elevate people’s healthcare conditions. It is my contention that, contrary to any optimistic forecasts, the average health standards of individuals will probably deteriorate in the coming years due to underlying reasons.
Several compelling arguments demonstrate the potential of scientific technology to take a toll on individual well-being.Chief among these is the lack of significant awareness regarding the consumption of daily foods. Many experts in the healthcare sector cited that myriads of consumers, spanning all generations, have long struggled with varieties of health implications, such as obesity and even heart disease. This is due to the significant transformation of lifestyles today, which are often burdened with relentless schedules from both personal and professional lives, making individuals devoid of time for meal preparation or the exploration of food recipes. As a result, these individuals are prone to incline toward fast food instead, particularly those obtained high sugar content, ultimately leading to severe health complications over time.
Additionally, technological advancement has induced various young generations to neglect the importance of outdoor activities. A pertinent example can be taken from many Asian countries, where the prolonged excessive use of digital electronic devices has been increasingly visible among the youth, potentially leading to visual impairment and cognitive decline if this phenomenon continues incessantly. Worse still, if there is no timely intervention from parents or healthcare professionals, these younger generations will gradually exhibit sedentary behaviors, gradually prioritizing visual realms over physical engagements. Nevertheless, I do not fully disagree with the benefits of technologies to society in terms of improving medical concerns. Yet, in reality, if demographic populations do not change their daily habits such as the intake of unhealthy foods and irregular proactive exercise, both of which may harbor severe health complications later despite technological evolution from scientists.
In conclusion, it is possible that many sparking debates will counter my perspectives; however, I believe that the consumption of unhealthy products, coupled with the neglect of physical activities, will be harmful to people’s health in the distant future.
