Nowadays, private information is increasingly published online. Although it might have some advantages, in my opinion it can cause to more disadvantages.
Admittedly, online sphere, social medias specifically, play major role in our modern life. This can lead to beneficial opportunities if using the platforms in effective ways. By publishing posts about your daily life in social media and attracting people who can be interested in it, those people, who are called bloggers, can earn significant amount of money which sometimes can reach to millions of dollars. Moreover, by posting something individuals can save this moments and then having access to this after many years with little possibility of losing this core memories. For example, there are thousands of people in you tube or Instagram who basically post videos and memories about their personal life, but are gaining popularity and therefore after several years having better life than the used to.
Nevertheless, despite of comparatively easy way of earning money, wrong usage of personal informational available worldwide can be the cause of vital consequences. Firstly, in modern life there are a lot of hackers who can hack profiles and get secret passwords, personal data and afterwards get access to the bank accounts or other private resources. One more drawback is the absence of personal space if any kind of locational information is leaked. This includes being chased on the streets, being recognized, changing place of living due to constant observation. For instance, one famous blogger accidentally showed a little area where she was living and the next day she got robbed.
In conclusion, safety far outweighs any of minor benefits that could result from getting famous and easy earning.
