People often follow someone famous blindly by focusing on their glamour and wealth rather than their talents. Following someone blindly can give them control over your thinking and also make your life unbalanced. Yet, some people still believe they are right. This essay will discuss this topic from two perspectives.
On the one hand, many famous people, especially those who debuted many years ago, do not have enough equipment or money, but they continue doing what they want to do. For example, Chinese actor Jackie Chan is well-known for his acting skills. He became famous not as easily as we might think. He has been injured many times and never gave up, continuously practicing and studying, accumulating different experiences until everyone recognized him. Now, he always donates money to those who have difficulty in living and continues to act well for the sake of his fans.
On the other hand, some people may seek money or support from others; they might use their popularity to engage in actions that appear good but are actually harmful. Donald Trump is an example of this. Many people do not support him, but some do not share the same view. During COVID-19, many citizens were concerned, but he was not. He did not wear a mask and attempted to sway citizens with some questionable policies, believing that it was not a significant problem for him. As a result, many citizens contracted COVID-19, contributing to societal chaos.
In conclusion, while it is true that money may provide us with more opportunities, it is more important to carefully evaluate a person and support them only when you truly understand their character.
