In this modern era, impacting people’s purchase decisions by commercials is becoming more challenging for many companies. Although this development stems from public awareness and a lack of reliable advertisements, I strongly believe that this is a positive trend.
A core reason behind this development is rooted in increased public awareness. These days, many people know how companies make them purchase goods, with marketing strategies becoming less important. Since many advertisements are created with the help of AI or advanced software, people easily recognize such commercials, such as food, digital gadgets, and clothes. A compelling example is Omnicon Group located in the USA. Sellers tend to change the appearance by shifting contrasts, adding extra lights, and adding attractive text at the bottom of advertisements to keep consumers engaged. This has resulted in a significant reduction in the number of consumers who actively buy their products. A further contributing factor lies in a lack of reliable adverts. When people watch advertisements on television, they are reluctant to buy products since they have faced poor-quality or damaged goods multiple times, making it less reliable to buy products advertised by organizations.
Nevertheless, I firmly believe that this is a positive development. As the public knows not to rely on advertising strategies, people are less likely to be deceived by marketers’ tactics such as AI-generated posters, and advanced designing opportunities. This allows people to save money for goals such as a house, or a car, or maybe even paying tuition fees, thereby managing money wisely for essential future needs. A case in point might be Uzbek people who cannot be fooled by marketing methods easily, which enable them to allocate money to different purposes. This, consequently, raises public awareness, which eventually causes greater financial management skills.
In conclusion, while increased public awareness and less reliable commercials are the primary reasons behind this trend, I wholeheartedly consider that this development is positive since staying informed with marketing methods can lead to fewer marketing scams targeting people, as seen in the case of Omnicon Group and Uzbek individuals.
