In world’s competitive society, competition among children is gradually increasing. Besides, many parents put a lot of pressure on their children to succeed. In my opinion, this is negative development for children. And, in this essay, I will explain parents’ reasons for doing this.

First and foremost, parents want to ensure for their children to have better life. This means that some parents will think that success is must study in top university, have a good job, earn many money,…. Therefore, parents must put a lot of pressure for children to understand important success. Especially, society is strongly developing, competition occur everywhere, some people is exerting to achieve what they want. For example, I have a girl friend, I feel that her study level is average, she is always feeling that she is weak at math and cannot do it. However, her parents want her to study gifted school, she must put up with great pressure. Furthermore, parent invest much money because they want to children learn some skill such as drawing, discussing, workshop with a view to having easier a future career. But in fact, at present, great expectation’s parent cause death and depression for their children. They must suffer from strong appreciation when they are unable to make satisfactory expectation of their parents.

While parents have a good intentions in putting pressure on their children, this approach can have negative consequence. In case, pressure is one reason that makes many children cannot share their expression and even their conservation with their parent. Great pressure can led to high level of stress and pressure in children, effecting their mental health, causing depression. Their real success is free discover, finding their interest, and can play together with their friend. When their awareness really want to succeed, they will have a good motivation to achieve it effectively rather than put pressure on them. In other words, parents should show concern properly.

In conclusion, the above-mentioned facts have created a dilemma when people evaluate the impacts of this issue, and it is a controversial issue. People should give further consideration to this issue.
