Nowadays, there has been much discussion revolving around the issue of whether companies should focus on their novelty rather than other positive points of their products. Personally, I believe that it is a kind of competition between businesses; however, I am in favour of the latter view.
Those who advocate for this position support their case with the following compelling arguments. Firstly, there is significant competition in the global market to fulfil consumers’ expectations, as a consequence, managers tend to focus on their modern features, and advertising content is growing tangibly. Secondly, there are a plethora of inventions all over the world that are changing the substantial needs of people, for instance, new drones have been invented which are able to deliver anything to far distances, as a result, a large number of companies are trying to justify their consumers that their drones can function better.
On the other hand, some people believe that analysing a product in different ways could be a logical way to assert its capability. Additionally, it is accepted that 90% of companies tend to change the physical parameters of packing, for instance, the shape of the package, and the colour might be changed, subsequently, people should care about genuine developments as well as novelties rather than minuscule re-designs.
In conclusion, I would argue that focusing on all beneficial parts of a product is much more important than emphasizing a single point. It would be wise for consumers as well as companies to notice all aspects of a product, which, I firmly believe, is in the best interest of all consumers involved.
