As we approach a world of technological advancements and digital dependency . It has become increasingly comman for youngsters to admire media celebrities and sportspeople .While such trend might be benefical in terms of role model I believe that it does more harm than good .
From an optimistic perspective media stars and sportspeople serve as a catalyst for boosting motivation and inspiration . Once young people start follow media and sport celebrities They are highly likely encounter their motivational speech about how they have overcame life problems such as financial consraints and family or friends conflicts thereby releazing that Rome wasn’t built in a day , everything takes time like success , fame , fortune are achieveble. Without such role models teenagers may fin themselves trapped in their comfort zone , limited by preconceived ideas and ingrained beliefs , which ultimately give up goals .
Despite these views in my opinion media and sport stars poses serious threat to children’s emotional well-being. As bloggers on social medial platforms represent only perfect picture of their life such as healthy parent -child interaction or happy moments from birthday parties or weddings in order to just get more likes and attract subscribers ,the irony is that the most celebrities are happy only on social media not in real life,.As a result young people start compare their life to media and sportspeople’s life who they even do not in real life thereby hustling hard to make everything perfect as like shown on social media however ended up failed meet unreasistic standarts leading to poor self-esteem.
In conclusion although celebrity admiration help bounce back from setbacks and move forward when push comes to shove . However I believe that influencion of media stars trigger youngsters’ psychological well-being
