In today’s modern world new sources of energy have been developed one of these is nuclear energy.While some masses believe that nuclear power is a positive development others oppose the same.Both advantages and disadvantages of nuclear energy are discussed in coming up paragraphs.
To embark upon, there are numerous advantages of nuclear power.First and foremost, nuclear energy protects air quality by producing massive amount of carbon free electricity.For instance,at present nuclear power plant produce large amount of electricity without any pollution.Moreover, nuclear power plants provide large number of job opportunities for local people. Nuclear power plants are environment friendly as they produce zero carbon dioxide gas and greenhouse emissions.
However,there are several negative impacts of developing nuclear energy. Initially, nuclear energy is dangerous and unstable as they can be used for destruction by rivalry countries. For instance, America had attacked two states of Japan , Hiroshima and Nagasaki and still coming up generations of these two states were struggling from hazardous effects of nuclear bombs. Furthermore , nuclear energy can be used for destruction by countries like USA,Japan etc which might lead to World war 3.
In a nutshell, despite inevitable disadvantages of nuclear energy, there are several advantages ,if it is used in right way. Nuclear energy provide lots of job opportunities and also produce electricity without damaging environment.
