There is no denying the fact that tutors can make a good impact on kids. While it is a commonly held belief that they positively affect their social and intellectual growth more than parents. There is also an argument that opposes it. In my opinion, I consider that teachers have more impact than parents.
To begin with, children spend more time with their teachers once they enter school. In other words, kids will be able to notice their tutors and mentors and learn from them. In addition, they get to meet new teachers every semester which would help in the social and intellectual growth of the children. For example, kids with introverted attitudes tend to change their behavior with the aid of the school community
Another point to consider, in school children usually face difficult situations and problems.
It is also possible to say that, with the aid of a tutor the children will be able to learn how to overcome troubles. Moreover, tutors could be a part of starting new friendships among kids. For instance, a tutor who has children in his class could introduce a kid to another student or start cooperative group assignments.
In conclusion, despite people having different views I tend to believe that, schools and teachers have more influence on a child’s social and intellectual growth since they spend more time at school, although parents have a good impact on their children, but the life they provide in their homes does not resemble the real life.
