The effect that teachers have on student’s mind and social improvements at school is more evident than parents. I agree with this view that teachers can significantly affect children’s developments.
On the one hand, some people convinced that parents are the only people who are responsible for everything in their children lives. Due to the giving their children birth and having responsibility of raising them, it does not mean that all the characteristics and improvements that a child can have is just depend on their mother and father. While parents are role models for their children and will highly likely affect their life, they are not the major role to shape their personality and development.
On the other hand, students spend so many years and times from their childhood in schools and teachers are who teaching them about everything. children start a new phase of their life in schools which can significantly impact their lives, as they have a lot of interactions with their teachers and learn from them. When a teacher treats their students well and being adaptable as well as teaches them efficiently it can change a pupil prospect completely in terms of their social skills as well as their critical thinking and their mind. On the contrast, a bad-behaved teacher who punishes their students a lot and humiliates them in front of their peers can have counterproductive consequences for students.
In conclusion, parents can be people who affect their child considerably. However, I believe that teachers could change their personality by their behavior and improve their social and intellectual skills greatly.
