Over the decades, the relationship between parents and children has been changing when children start to learn adult life. Although being strict parents can often offer some benefits, parents should be permissive and let them make a decision independently.
On one hand, if parents want to raise admiring and well-behaved children, certain amount of regulations are necessary in their maturity life. Life teaches me that there should be boundaries when children reach puberty, and it’s important to know saying no when they behave badly or try to punish against these boundaries. If they do not control them in such style, youngsters may enter bad ways, like narcotic or vandalism. Therefore, those who are doing the opposite and elaborate them are doing more harm than good.
On the other hand, being strictly may not always be available. Adults always search parents who is permissive, and they need to make their own choices about important things like careers or education. Parents should support them instead of trying to control every decision. As a result, adults do their best in one field, achieve their goals, and become important ones in the society. For example, my sister has access to run a vial and decide independently, and that is why she always success in her favorite major. In conclusion, both being strictly and permissive have different positive effects on adults.
