There are increasing number of people in a lot of major cities worldwide, which is a main issue nowadays. This is mainly because of a lack of employment opportunities in rural areas and the convenience of urban lifestyles. There are many solutions which should be implemented to combat this problem.
Firstly, the reason for overpopulation is due to not having sufficient job opportunities in the countrysides. In other words, many people don’t have stable jobs to earn money as well as to provide their families, who are relying soley on them. As a result, more and more individuals left their hometowns and went to the cities in search of job employments. Secondly, Another reason for this issue is owing to higher living standards of people in urban centers. Therefore, a large number of young couples moved to cities for their future, particularly for education of their sons or daughters.
There are two effective solutions for overpopulation. One way to tackle this is to create more employment opportunities in rural areas and to provide funding for that by government. For example, they should invest in agriculture, education as well as manufaturing industries by creating jobs so that local people can earn a living in their own place. Another method to solve this problem is government should support education systems and public healthcare in the countrysides. This solution would hopefully prevent indigenous people from moving to urban centers.
In conclsion, regardless of the reasons for being overcrowded in major cities, creating employment opportunities and providing fundings for education and heathcare systems in rural regions can be effective to solve an overpopulation problem in cities.
