Education has become a crucial part of evolving society. Some people argue that children should be involved in physical activities more than mental ones by their parents. However, others including myself are disagree with this view, and believe that education is a key to be successful, that should not be replaced by physical exercises as well as they should be taught how to balance both education and physical well-being, and I will explain it in this essay.
The effect of learning new skills and subjects in younger age is more effective than acquiring it in later life. Because children’s brain is fresh to absorb new information as a sponge and use it in practice as they have are free from any life responsibilities to think off. Learning a second language, for example, it takes much time and effort. When children are more involved physical exercises, they rarely allocate their time to learning difficult subjects, which leads to worse grades at schools and falling behind from their peers. Consequently, it can also effect detrimentally to their confidence to pursue a career in academic field in the future.
Even though education is vital for child’s development, the physical activities should not be overlooked. From the early age children should be taught to balance studying and exercising at schools. When they learn balancing their life between studying and exercising, it will not be difficult to them to balance their future career and private life, which most people of today struggle with. For example, most individuals who are succeed in career face different problems related to their health such as diabetes or being overweight. It is particularly, due to the sedentary lifestyle and avoiding any physical exercises. That is it easier to shape people’s habits in childhood compared to adulthood by explaining them the importance of balancing between physical state and mental one.
In conclusion, although many people encourage children’s physical involvement rather than studying long hours. It would be more beneficial, if they are taught how to maintain a balance between physical and mental state.
