People have historically tried to achieve a perfect atmosphere of life. However, it is difficult to decide what a perfect society would be like. This essay will discuss more about the essential elements of an ideal society, and the things that ‘regular’ people can do to make society better.

An ideal community usually consists of a wide range of ages, and sometimes it is difficult to connect people from different generations; however, it can be done if people start conversations. Giving greetings in the morning to other citizens is a simple, important activity that can be implemented as a starting point to achieve an ideal society. For instance, “good morning” and “how are you” are two common phrases that could help society build connections between members. Moreover, these simple words can grow into more serious communication topics that can link all of the members in the group.

Other than greetings, there is another thing that can be done by ‘regular’ people to make society better, which is smiling. Everyone can show a smile without effort, and it is proven that a smile can change others’ decisions. There was recent news that reported a suicide attempt that was successfully canceled only by someone who randomly smiled at the person who wanted to end their life. This instance shows how meaningful a smile is, and if everyone smiles at others, then the community will become better.

In conclusion, the most essential part of a society is communication because it can link many people from different generations. Besides that, there is another simple thing that can make for a better society, which is smiling.
