Many people spend most of their lives working and devote a lot of their time to their jobs. It can hardly be denied that nowadays a lot of people have the feeling of being dominated by their jobs and their responsibilities. I tend to agree with the former statement, and in this essay I will support my view.
Most citizens rely on their jobs to maintain an income to pay for everything in life, such as food, electricity, clothes, and school for their children. In some countries people need to work harder to get a small amount of money that barely covers their needs, as the living expenses are getting high. There is no doubt that money is becoming an important part of everyone’s life, it can seem that many people feel the pressure of being controlled by their jobs, and they need to try their best and work more and more every day to cover their families’ needs in life.
In some developed countries, many people don’t find suitable jobs and don’t have a stable income due to the increase in unemployment rate. Therefore, some of these countries must provide opportunities to help such people find jobs and earn money to feed their families and give their children a proper education. In the past, it was a bit different and easier because living expenses were not so high, and a normal job that doesn’t require a lot of hard work and time could provide the family with enough money to live a simple life.
To sum up, due to the increase in the cost of living, many people feel dominated by their jobs. In my opinion, I think that this is a problem worth looking at.
