In our current education system, pioneers are required to chose their career path early in their lives in order to attend most ”qualified’ universities, or have the most ‘desired’ job among the adults who hadn’t achivied those dreams. Although, i agree with the opinion of following the path that planned in early age of adulthood would positively effect our abilities and even our performance.
Firstly, from physiological aspects, humans are more likely to adapt the environment they are currently living. They have their own safe-zones, which is hard to change. They are used to face same problems, used to solve things with relatively similar solutions. Hence, workers evolved to automate their jobs to achieve most efficient way. Therefore, ever since industrial revulation requires producing more, by their supervisiors, workes more likely to recieve a review that satisfy their ‘programmed desires’ from childhood. For instance, a math student will solve a math question, rather then a litrature, cause their brains learned a practical way to solve a question that measures deeper knowledge of calculus, not for creative thinking.
The other reason is, to learn a skill, or a simpliest thing, us people need to spend a time on it. Such as, walking (a easiest thing for human being) parents spend their significant amount of time to teach their babies by step by step. If people change their career path much than usual, they have to learn slang of that new job, sector, or whetever they changed in their professional life moreover, that might take a lot of time.
To conclude, in my opinion, i understand the reason to look for new opportunities since we typically forced to choose our rest of life based on decisions that we made in teenager years, but, there are some consequences such as spearing time, or not being able to new worlds standarts1 with the beginning of production era.
