The provided charts illustrate the proportion of water used in six regions like North America , South Africa, Europe, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia for three distinct reasons.
Overall, the most of the water used for industrial purpose in North America and Europe, but the least in Central Asia. The agricultural use was of high demand in Central Asia, Africa, Southeast Asia, and South America, while comperatively less in Europe and North America. Lastly, the domestic consumption was the highest in South America while the lowest in both Central Asia and Southeast Asia.
At the beginning, in Europe and North America, both accounted for 53% and 48% ratios respectively, while Central Asia showed only 5% of total ratio in terms of litres consumption in industries. Then the highest percentage for farming was held by Central Asia which is 88% whereas 84%, 81%, and 71% held by Africa, Southeast Asia, and South America, respectively. On the other hand, 32% was the lowest figure was seen in the Europe.
Lastly, South America charged the highest rate which is 18% for the domestic use, whereas Europe, North America and Africa with 15%, 13% and 9% consecutively higher than Central Asia and South Asia both with the lower figures of 7% each.
