In the modern world, quite a few people are making an effort to determine new profitable approaches to plastic waste issues. Consequently, a considerable number of people firmly state that it is a huge problem for society. Personally, I hold a view that we should ponder this subject properly and equally. The following essay aims to support the above mentioned statements with appropriate reasons and examples.
Firstly, plastic waste is a worldwide problem accompanied by global warming. People do not consider it crucial and throw trash in the streets, causing a huge damage to the environment. It is essential to throw trash in particular recyclable garbage bins, if we do not follow this, the landfills full of rubbish will be loaded with non-biodegradable wastes, poisoning the surroundings. In addition, it is apparent that we have to reduce the amount of plastic garbage, and some researchers have found a solution. For example, they created green packaging, which can be recycled easily and scientists try to replace the plastic packaging with it.
Secondly, I have a deep desire to mention that the plastic waste is not only polluting the land, the sea is also being spoiled. A great deal of plastic is being thrown away in the ocean every day. These plastic wastes are being buried in the seabed, which is then consumed by marine life. The microplastics inside of them remain, and when a person eats this fish, it might lead to health issues due to the consumption of these toxic substances, such as cancer, heart disease and so on. Moreover, it is also evident that we have to clean the ocean to prevent this. For instance, marines can use water drones and other technical equipment to collect the rubbish.
All things considered, I am highly confident that it is critical to figure out the solution to the problems of the increasing amount of plastic waste.
