Air contamination and pollution of our environment are rising in recent times and solving these ecological problems will take ages. This essay will examine the main causes of air pollution and possible solutions to this problem.
The two main causes of air pollution are unlimited usage of private transport and the decrease of green plants in our environment. When privat transport became cheap enough to be in almost every family, people started to use their car for not only necessary trips. For instance, my friend usually goes to the cafe by car, while he needs only ten minutes to go by foot. If my friend went to the cafe by foot, the amount of exhaust gases would reduce. Also, today people cut trees a lot, there are a few trees in cities. Nevertheless, plants clean air and the pollution reduces. In other words, if people stop cutting trees and using private transport without necessity, the environmental pollution will decrease.
Some global solutions to these problems are developing laws that will limit usage of private cars and cutting the trees. Heavy fines for the excessive usage of cars and controlling the cutting of green plants will help to save our environment from pollution. Moreover, we can help to improve air quality individually. Every person can choose public transport instead of private. This is a way to reduce the number of exhaust gases. Also, everybody can plant plants and donate to the charity organisations that help to save forests. In such a way, people can stop the pollution of our environment.
In conclusion, excess cars on the roads and cutting down trees are the reasons for the environmental problems. However, strict laws that limit pollution and personal actions, like planting trees, can save our environment from the contamination.
