These days, jail is the best punishment for offenders. Some people believe that the death penalty will come. I completely agree in this essay. I will support my opinion with examples.
To begin with, If the punishment is not prison, it will be death penalty or something to do easy work. These are much harder or easier than prison. In my opinion prison is the only right thing in the situation. for example, It is not appropriate to give the penalty to someone who has committed a minor crime. Prison is adequate punishment ,not too much but not too little.
Another reason why I agree with this statement is the jail conducts rehabilitation activities. In that way, they can think again to become the right person. Take a criminal who had been in prison and not been in a prison as an example. The first criminal can become a right person, but second one can not. I’m strongly believe that this is really good for the country and the social. Furthermore, It is great for people who messed up and trying to become better person.
On the other hand, some people might not get changed at all. They might do the same crime again. However, it is very risky because the criminals might not get caught. As a result everything will be in danger, they might do very risky action.
In conclusion, It is common belief that prison is the best punishment for criminals. I believe person is a adequate punishment and to make criminals the better person. Personally, I think prison is the only right thing in this whole situation.
