There is a controversial point about the crime solution , as it is believed that educating individuals well might be resolution for crime prevention rather than imprisonment . Although this approach may sound suitable solution to this problem , I disagree with this view , as education alone could not help while immediate deterrence or enforcement much more effective.
To begin with , educational programs cannot be an optimal remedy struggling with reducing crime rate. This means that it is a long –term solution that takes time as well as resources. For example , while conducting educational programs related the law abiding at school or at some work places might be time consuming , extra money should be allocated to pay to the experts . However, the consequence will not be as an expected since individuals always accustomed to be penalized as if certain measurement is not imposed they do not posses sense of fear and obeyence .Thus , law literacy cannot manage reducing without any practical punishment.
On the other hand , immediate deterrence or enforcement measure provides people’ awareness not to committing crime as a consequence is evident. Every offense has to be punished according to the proper law that criminals funk to implement wrong deed , as imprisonment serves as a strong deterrent to potential them . For example , strict penalties hold them not to commit the crime , discourage from crime . Another reason might be repetition of the crime as not to be executed strictly , considering there Is no harsh statement to the crime . The society should take into the all aspects as educational program is not able prevent to commit a crime .
To conclude , to reduce crime rate effectively proper measurement should be taken , as it is key issues of the society . Educating is also a good answer but not sufficient as well as immediate deterrence.
