However, this essay believes that separate budget allocation for artists is necessary since it can benefit the nation in two extremely important ways: the preservation of traditions and culture, and cultural entertainment.
Some individuals think that the government is supposed to spend money only on fields that are crucial for the population’s well-being and require enormous amounts of money like education, medicine, etc.. That perspective is partially right because it’s better to spend the money on, for example, education than art since it plays a huge role in the future of the younger generations.
However, art is an equally vital sphere as others because Music, paintings, and poems play a crucial role in preserving culture and entertaining the population. Pieces of art preserve centuries of culture development, so without support artists won’t be able to illustrate unique traditions to other nations. Additionally, they provide entertainment to the population, and entertainment is an integral part of daily life. Therefore, investment and more attention toward artists are necessary. For instance, in Uzbekistan there are stories from the 1200s that are still preserved by artists like Sherali Juraev.
In conclusion, art may seem to be an unimportant field that is unworthy of support, in general; however, art is as essential as other fields like education and medicine due to above-mentioned details.
