In today’s rapidly evolving world, the issue of obesity has become common among students in educational institutions. Some people contend that increasing the amount of time on sport and exercise can be an effective way to address the issue of obesity among children. In my opinion, the amount of time spent on physical activities ought to be increased as it brings numerous positive outcomes at the same time there are some other proactive measures to alleviate this challenge.
There are several compelling reasons why the amount of time spent on physical activities should be increased in schools. To begin with, regular exercise helps individuals to maintain optimal body weight instead of being obese. Exercise improves stamina, vitality and physical endurance, which are highly vital for them to ensure their physical fitness and enhance their overall health. Additionally, if children are allowed to spend more time on sports, they will be enthusiastic about playing various games, including football, cricket and badmintoon. These physical activities burn excess calories from their body, which not only mitigate the risk of chronic diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and cancer but also control their body weight.
On the other hand, despite the above highlighted discussions, there are some other proactive approach to deal with the problem of overweight. First and foremost, maintaining healthy diets can be an anticipatory action to reduce excessive weight gain. For instance, balanced meals provide vitamins, minerals and proteins, which can significantly contribute to maintaining perfect body weight. Moreover, avoiding junk food and replacing sugary products with fruits and vegestables can be instrumental in reducing overweight. For example, when people do not consume fast food, it controls fat accumulation and supports a proper metabolism.
In conclusion, increasing the amount of time spent on physical activities can be a realistic option to regulate their weight and avoid harmful effects that can cause obesity. From my perspecitve, replacing sugary items and avoiding junk food can also be a viable way to mitigate the issue of obesity among children.
